Meet OUR PASTORS

Our pastors, Jeff and Liz Williams, have been married for forty-two years, and have lived in Gastonia for twenty years. They have three children and two grandchildren.

Pastors  Jeff and Liz are passionate about ministry, community and transformative power of the Holy Spirit. They co-lead our vibrant congregation with a commitment to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Pastor Jeff serves as our dedicated Senior Pastor for over thirteen years.

Under Pastor Jeff's leadership, the Spirit of Life Church has launched many impactful initiatives like Inspiration for Inmates, an on-going ministry outreach that provides Bibles to inmates, which he personally champions. Pastors Jeff and Liz are known for their heartfelt, dynamic preaching, and they connect deeply with all ages in weekly worship services, Bible studies and outreach events.

Pastors Jeff and Liz are recognized not just pastors but are friends and mentors throughout Gastonia. They have a caring nature and provide supportive Christian counsel. Their passion for worship and ministry is evident in every service, and their influence as spiritual leaders is widely celebrated in the area through social media and livestreamed services.

Pastor Jeff received his ordination through World Evangelism Fellowship/SBC, and currently holds a Master’s degree in Pastoral Leadership from Anderson Theological Seminary. He is also working toward obtaining his doctorate in Practical Ministry from Andersonville. Pastor Jeff is also an Alumni of Jimmy Swaggart Bible College. Pastor Liz received her ordination through World Evangelism Fellowship, and currently holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Limestone University.

Both Jeff and Liz offer Christian counseling through Abounding in Hope in both group and private sessions for a wide array of needs, including marriage counseling and addiction recovery.
